Down-to-the-wire suspense! Unfortunately, in real life.

So yesterday my desktop system crashed, 12 hours after my computer techie fitted me with a wide-screen monitor and some new software. He happens to be leaving for Poland today, for nearly two weeks, so he is urgently trying to fix the situation. Will he manage this prior to departure? If not, I will have to work from an ancient laptop. Stay tuned (or not, should you have better things to do). I will try to post, posthaste, but who knows...?
